Idén till denna studie kom till mig för ett antal år sedan då jag fick se ett digital skapat verk och därmed bestämde jag mig för att digitalt bildskapande skulle bli ämnet för mitt examensarbete i min utbildning på lärarutbildningen. Därmed valde jag att göra en undersökning om digitalt bildskapande och hur detta skulle kunna användas som undervisningsverktyg i skolans bildämne.Mina tankegångar inför detta arbete var om digitalt bildskapande är möjligt att använda i bildundervisning och ifall detta kan utveckla bildämnets undervisning. Men även undersöka om digital bildskapande är av vikt att lära eleverna och om det kan ses som en tillgång för eleverna och lärarna.I min undersökning använde jag litteratur för att försöka förklara och skapa en bild av ämnet digital bildbehandling. Jag gjorde även en undersökning till mitt arbete med ett digitalt bildbehandlingsprogram för att visa hur digitala metoder och tekniker skulle kunna användas i undervisningen i bildämnet.Resultatet av mina undersökningar med bildbehandlingsprogrammet visade på att digitalt bildskapande är möjligt att använda som undervisningsverktyg och kan även medföra fördelar för bildämnets verksamhet. .

The purpose of the essay has been to analyze and interpret Hans Hedbergs ceramic art. It deals with his education, people and places that influenced and inspired Hans Hedberg in his artistic development. For example the nature in Köpmanholmen, Höga kusten, were he grew up as a child and the fact that he started as a painter. The essay analyses mainly his symbolic sculptures the Egg and the Apple-series and links it to Surrealism and Nouveau Réalisme and how other artists has worked with the Egg and Apple-theme. .

This thesis explores the conditions of painting artists in the former GDR. The conclusion after studying rather many artists excepted paintings is, that they had a very personal style within the figuration, considering the official prescription of Social realism. The main objective for the study is common motives and changes over time. It showed a development against greater freedom in expression. A closer analyse of one painter´s work (Susanne Kandt-Horn) and of the exhibitions in Rostock Art Museum during the 80´s illustrates the circumstances under which the artists lived..

The artist Pehr Hilleström has been credited as the founder of the Swedish genre painting. In the second half of the 18th century he began painting everyday subjects of the different social stratums. Today his paintings are noted for their way of showing us the culture of the time since the photograph still had still not been introduced.   Hilleström was a court painter for King Gustav III who wanted him to depict the Swedish people and their different costumes. The king thought the costumes were of great significance for their psychological impact on people and therefore used them as a way to unite the nation psychologically, both by the genre paintings and also by making a national costume. The costumes were used as a symbol of an unbroken tradition and national heritage.

This bachelor thesis discusses three Swedish landscape architects and their plan drawings and illustrations. The landscape architects are from the 18th century, the 19th century respectively the 20th century. The three persons are: Fredrik Magnus Piper, Knut Forsberg and Gunnar Martinsson. The landscape architects are brought up in chronological order in a chapter each where the person?s life, educations and work are described.

Tove Jansson was born in 1914 and died in 2001. She was a Finnish, though Swedish-speaking, novelist and painter. She wrote many books of which the Moomin books were the most popular. She wrote in total eight Moomin books (picture books not counted) of which some were rewritten one of more times. The first Moomin book appeared in 1945 and the last as late as 1970.

Den här uppsatsen handlar om hur normer, förväntningar och traditioner inom måleribranschen styr hur målare handskas med säkerhetsfrågor i sitt arbete. Syftet är att studera kvinnliga målares upplevelse av säkerhet och risker i måleribranschen. Valet av ämne grundar sig i hur jag på nära håll fått följa en familjemedlems arbete inom måleribranschen och oron jag känt över att risker och säkerhetsfrågor inte verkade tas på allvar av fackförbund, företagsledning eller kollegor. Detta upplevde jag som anmärkningsvärt då en målares arbete tar plats i en ofta smutsig och farlig miljö som följaktligen kan vara skadlig för hälsan. Jag har intervjuat tre målare och deras svar tyder bland annat på att de är bekanta med risker inom måleribranschen och att säkerhetsfrågor från företagsledning, kollegor tas på varierande allvar.

Amalie Skram (1846-1905) was born in Norway but lived in Denmark. She published several books about gender relations and built up a reputation as a naturalistic writer. In 1894, a nervous breakdown made her seek help from the famous psychiatrist Knud Pontoppidan. He sent her to an asylum, but she returned home after spending two months in psychiatric care. In 1895, Skram published two novels about the painter Else Kant, based on her own experiences but not written as autobiographies.

Title: Strokes of music - Harmonic methods for modal music.The aim of this paper is to develop harmonic methods for music based on different modes or scales. It begins with an exploration of the music of Claude Debussy and then goes on with other methods and scales and also includes an analytic chapter and results at the end. With "strokes of music" I mean a musical technique, which has some parallels to how a painter can choose colors and palettes to express what he is looking for ? the freedom to choose between colors and palettes, or in music tones and scales ? to move between them by sudden or leading modulations, from the diatonic scales with alternative formations, to the symmetric spheres, to the melodic pentatonic scales and other alternative new formations, using plateauic solutions or chords in diatonic, functional and non-functional progressions. The aim with this thesis was to investigate what characterises an English Arts and Crafts garden how they could be modernised in Sweden. My research was limited to 20 weeks of full-time writing and worth 30 ECTS. Through literature studies, interviews and site visits I could analyse my findings which resulted in a concrete garden design project. The Arts and Crafts was a movement that started in England during the 1880?s and evolved as a reaction towards the industrialisation. The influence came from the writings and practices of John Ruskin (1819-1900) and William Morris (1834-1896) who advocated the importance of craftsmanship. The Arts and Crafts movement also became a ?recipe for life? and was associated with a healthy and morally pure way of living.
